Last fall I spent hours hauling logs in Cheyenne Canon Park. It was hard work and I was sore the next day, but I felt a great sense of accomplishment and bonded with the other volunteers on the project. S.D.

Bear Creek Park

Bear Creek Park is a popular regional county park  used by cyclists, equestrians, hikers and runners. The dog park and soccer fields are local favorites. The Bear Creek Nature Center has an active volunteer group, as does the dog park. But the park does not have a Friends Group to help with trail maintenance needs.
