Friends of the Peak

Friends of The Peak is an nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving, protecting, and restoring Pikes Peak. Pikes Peak has accommodated many human activities during the past century; the effects of these activities are evident throughout the natural environment of the mountain. Our organization specifically concerns itself with the health of the ecosystems on the Pikes Peak and translates that commitment into action.

The group does extensive trail work and this summer will be working on the Barr Trail,
Manitou Section 16 and the South Slope of Pikes Peak.
