Intemann Trail Committee

With help from hundreds of volunteers starting in 1987, and in conjunction with local governments and nonprofit groups, the informally structured Intemann Trail Committee (ITC) built and continues to maintain the popular
5 mile Intemann Trail. The trail is in two roughly equal segments - one above Manitou Springs, the other through Section 16 above the Red Rock Canyon Open Space. And with a planned City of Manitou Springs open-space purchase  of the McGee property, there could finally be a public connection for those two segments.

The ITC also built and maintains two trails off the Intemann Trail - the Red Mountain Trail above Manitou and the Waterfall Connector Trail in Section 16.

The ITC has maintenace workdays each summer in May, June, August, September and Ocotber - and as needed depending on trail conditions.
