Palmer Park

Palmer Park is one of the jewels of Colorado Springs. It is a regional park located on near Maizeland Rd. and Academy Blvd. It is one of the areas most popular and accessible parks. Heavy use is taking a toll on trails and facilities.

Acres/Trails: 1319 acres with 25 miles of trails

Group(s) Maintaining property: Guardians of Palmer Park started in January of 2009. They are committed to protecting the park, picking up trash, removing graffiti and repairing picnic tables located in the park. They meet mornings twice each month and are doing a tremendous job meeting basic maintenance needs.
