The Rocky Mountain Field Institute is a nonprofit organization based in Colorado Springs, Colorado whose mission is to integrate environmental stewardship, education, and research through the exemplary restoration of key natural areas. Spring and summer 2011 will offer exciting volunteer opportunities including:
- Fields park, Manitou Springs (Fountain Creek Restoration Project)
- Garden of the Gods Workdays (Central Garden Trail Improvement)
- Pikes Peak Workdays (Repairing impacts to the alpine along the highway)
- Blanca Peak Volunteer Vacation (Camping in Lake Como Basin and improving summit trail to Blanca Peak)
- Shelf Road Volunteer Weekend (includes group camping)
