The Trails and Open Space Coalition is leading a citizen effort to find sustainable solutions to our city and county parks budget cuts. General fund money for city parks has been reduced by 84% over the past few years. County parks have seen a 60% cut in funding. The result is closed bathrooms, less irrigation, less trash removal and reduced maintenance.
